Watch, Read and Learn: The Untold Story of Steve Jobs

  From the first day I set my eyes on the #LabarinaSeries, I thought it would be an amazing film that would deliver some special lessons. Recently, I have come to understand the similarities between the stories of Sumayya (the fictional character of the series) and Steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple, Inc. In the film, Sumayya’s attempts of meeting her biological father are always thwarted by her mother, because they do not know his whereabouts for several years. So, those scenes quickly remind me of the story of Steve Jobs and his biological father, Abdulfatah Jandali. Despite being a follower of his trends, I’ve never watched a single clip of him mentioning his real father, even though I knew that he’s a Syrian professor of Economics and Political Science.
